Rooted in Tradition, Designed for Celebration
For this spirited Maryland family, game day isn’t just a pastime — it’s a legacy. With deep roots in University of Maryland Football their club room deserved a design that honored tradition while feeling refined and livable with plenty of seating. We reimagined the entire space with their passion woven thoughtfully throughout, incorporating and beautifully displaying years of treasured memorabilia. Custom built-in bookcases, crafted in collaboration with a skilled carpenter, provide a tailored backdrop for showcasing everything from keepsakes to conversation pieces — organized, intentional, and far from cluttered. Fabrics were carefully selected to nod to the Maryland theme without feeling overly literal or “game room gimmicky.” The palette is rich and layered, subtle yet spirited. And because celebrations here can get enthusiastic — especially when a winning play sends drinks into the air — performance rugs and high-performing upholstery were absolutely essential.
