When this young couple with four boys (all under the age of 7) enlisted our help designing their newly renovated home, we knew we were in for a wild ride! In the spirit of embracing chaos, we designed a personal and refined home inspired by this fun-loving and active family's lifestyle.
We tailored each space to family-friendly living by thoughtfully balancing function and style. Stain-resistant custom fabrics, cheerful patterns, and conveniently automated window coverings are sprinkled throughout each space. And let's not forget about that gorgeous heirloom settee - we gave it a new lease on life and made it the centerpiece of the sitting area.
While the family room was designed to be cozy, warm, and masculine, Mom's feminine dining room was made for elegant tea parties and sophisticated wine nights. (Sorry, boys, no kids allowed!) This home is proof that a busy family and a stylish home can coexist beautifully.
