Artful Living: A Bathroom and Foyer Transformation
This project showcases two transformative spaces within the home: a complete primary bathroom renovation and a vibrant foyer refresh—each thoughtfully designed to reflect both elegance and personality.
The once dark and outdated primary bathroom was fully reimagined into a sophisticated retreat layered in marble. A curated mix of marble tiles in varying shapes, sizes, and tones creates visual depth and texture throughout the space. A standout feature is the delicate picture frame mirror from Turkey, which adds a tailored, architectural element to the design. Underfoot, a striking chevron-pattern floor offers a fresh interpretation of classic subway tile, introducing movement and modern character while maintaining timeless appeal.
The foyer sets the tone for the home with a bold and welcoming statement. We sourced dramatic lighting, a richly colored Persian tribal rug, and a show-stopping oil painting by Christopher Coor. Together with carefully selected antiques and unique accessories, the space beautifully reflects the client’s love of fine art, color, and collected pieces. The result is a foyer that feels both curated and deeply personal—an inviting introduction to the home beyond.
